Pipeline Terminal Operator

• Compensation: $30-37/hour DOE
• Location:
  
  Apex, NC
• Work Schedule:
  
  Dupont M-F / 40 hours
• Assignment Duration: 12 months
• Benefits:

• Must be local within 50 miles!

• Operate and inspect terminal equipment; make adjustments as needed
• Coordinate with the Control Center to manage product flow and quality
• Perform routine terminal operations, including measurement, inventory, and driver training
• Conduct preventive maintenance and assist with repairs
• Monitor facility conditions and ensure safety and environmental compliance
• Maintain accurate records and complete daily operational paperwork
• Support safety training and oversee onsite contractors
• Assist Pipeline Technicians and participate in emergency response and safety programs

• Minimum 3 years of stable work experience, ideally in the energy sector
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour DuPont schedule and respond to call-outs within 1 hour
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces
• Strong communication, decision‑making, and teamwork skills
• Must be safety-focused, dependable, and self‑motivated
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
