We’re expanding from our new construction success into a best‑in‑class commercial service operation serving restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels/hospitality, multifamily, medical/office, retail, and specialty wellness spaces like yoga studios—while remaining cross‑trained to support residential service as needed. Key Responsibilities- Operations & Performance
- Oversee daily performance and operations of the residential service division
- Manage KPIs: revenue per truck, billed hours, job efficiency, average ticket size, and callback rate
- Ensure compliance with NC plumbing codes and licensing regulations
- Coordinate closely with dispatch and customer service for schedule optimization
- Leadership & Coaching
- Provide field leadership and ride‑alongs as a licensed P1 plumber
- Coach and mentor technicians on service excellence, system diagnostics, and upsell strategies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and skills development plans
- Uphold company standards, values, and accountability in the field
- Customer Experience
- Handle escalated service issues and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Ensure job sites are clean, professional, and compliant
- Support technicians in presenting options‑based solutions and maintaining communication standards
- Process & Systems
- Build and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all service workflows
- Work daily in Service Titan to track performance, job progress, and compliance
- Monitor job costing, pricing strategies, and division‑level profitability
- Collaborate with ownership on scaling operations and continuous improvement
- Required
- Active North Carolina P1 Plumbing License (mandatory)
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience in residential plumbing or related home services
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead a team of technicians
- Strong working knowledge of NC code compliance and residential systems
- Proficiency with field service software (Service Titan preferred)
- Preferred
- Experience rebuilding or scaling a residential service team
- Sales‑focused mindset with ability to coach on upselling and conversion metrics
- Strong operational acumen in pricing, job costing, and margin management
High technician productivity with minimal rework or callbacks
