Landscape Construction Crew Member

The Landscaping Technician is a hands-on field position responsible for the installation of plant materials, turf, and related landscape features. Working under the direct supervision of the Foreman, this role supports the successful execution of commercial and residential landscape installation projects.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Install trees, shrubs, perennials, seasonal color, and sod according to design specifications.

• Perform site preparation including digging, planting, raking, watering, mulching, and cleanup.

• Load and unload heavy equipment, tools, and plant materials from trucks.

• Assist with daily setup and breakdown of job sites and ensure safe collection of all company tools and equipment.

Safely operate the following equipment:

• Lawn mowers (push, walk-behind, and riding)

• Tillers, aerators, slit seeders, and occasional use of wheel tractors

• String trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws

• Backpack sprayers and blowers

• Hand tools such as shovels, rakes, picks, and pruning shears

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Comfortable working around environmental risks such as bees, poison ivy, and pollen

• Must wear company-issued uniforms, boots, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Must adhere to company safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment

• Valid driver's license preferred but not required

• Must pass a background check and comply with all company policies
