Key Responsibilities Operational & Installation Management
- Lead, supervise, and train enhancement crews in all aspects of landscape installation with a strong focus on jobsite safety and productivity.
- Execute contracted scope of work including plantings, turf, irrigation, and hardscape elements according to plans and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform manual tasks including digging, tilling, planting, raking, watering, and general site clean‑up.
- Handle and transport bulk and bagged landscape materials and equipment.
- Plan daily work assignments and manage material and equipment logistics.
- Conduct site start‑up and shutdown procedures and daily site inspections.
- Submit accurate and timely timesheets and reports via BOSS mobile platform.
- Maintain standardization and cleanliness of assigned trucks and trailers.
- Utilize technology and company platforms for communication and documentation.
- Ensure jobsite quality, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain professional, on‑site communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor their work for compliance and quality.
- Communicate daily with the Production Manager regarding progress, planning, and resource needs.
- Ensure client satisfaction through timely issue resolution and high service standards.
- Adjust and program irrigation controllers; possess a basic working knowledge of irrigation system components.
- Drive company vehicles safely (with or without trailers).
- Participate in seasonal snow removal operations as assigned.

- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
- Ability to work safely around environmental hazards such as bees, poison ivy, thorns, pollen, and other allergens.
- Adhere to all safety protocols when working with chemicals, tools, and heavy equipment.
- Wear company‑issued PPE, including sturdy footwear, eye protection, and hearing protection, as required.
- Maintain safe operation and routine care of assigned tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and maintain a clean motor vehicle record (CDL preferred).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Willingness to obtain a North Carolina Pesticide Applicator's License, if not already certified.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead, train, and motivate crew members.
- Comply with all Bland Landscaping Company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
