Sweetwater Plumbing is seeking a dependable and experienced Home Service Plumber to join our growing service team. In this role, you will handle a variety of residential plumbing tasks—ranging from diagnostics and repair to system installations—while delivering top-tier customer service. Sweetwater Plumbing is Apex’s local plumbing shop, independently owned and operated, with deep roots in the North Carolina construction scene. Known for our success in new construction, we’re expanding quickly into residential service plumbing across Apex, Morrisville, Durham, and Cary. • Install & repair pipes, water heaters, toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, and more.
• Diagnose & troubleshoot plumbing issues using modern diagnostic tools.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and accurate estimates to customers.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation for urgent plumbing needs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues.
• Ensure all work meets local codes and safety standards.
• Accurately record materials used, work completed, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with field and office staff for project coordination and support.

• Experience:
  
  3+ years in residential plumbing.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training/apprenticeship preferred.
• Licensing:
  Plumbing Technician License preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically capable of working in tight, elevated, or variable conditions.
• On‑call availability required.
• Proficient with plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
