Administrative Assistant - Orlando Behavioral Health Hospital - Opening Spring 2026!

Acadia Healthcare and Orlando Health have formed a joint venture to develop, construct, and operate a state-of-the-art, two-story, 144-bed behavioral health hospital. This new facility will address the critical need for accessible, high-quality psychiatric care in the Orlando area, expanding the region's capacity to serve patients across Central Florida. Located in Apopka, Florida, the newly built hospital will provide a comprehensive suite of behavioral health services to meet growing demands.

Slated to open in Spring 2026, this hospital will consolidate Orlando Health's behavioral health services, streamlining and enhancing psychiatric care for the community.

Our Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to facility management to ensure efficient operation of the facility. This is an onsite role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

* Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

* Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.

* Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

* Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.

* May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.

* May direct and lead the work of others.

* May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.

* Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.

* Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.

* May cover the reception desk when required.

* Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

* Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Associate's degree preferred.
