Job Summary: HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at the New Wekiwa FSER in Apopka, Florida. Opening January 2026.
Qualified Candidates:- Board certified/board eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM/AOBEM) or board certified in Family Medicine with extensive ER experience.
- Possess ATLS, PALS and ACLS
- Independent Contractor status

Wekiwa FSER Features:
- Projected 12,385 visits in the first year
- Fully integrated with HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center
- 11 private patient care beds
- Dedicated trauma room
- Diagnostic imaging, including CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray
- Ambulance bay for EMS access
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
A 221-bed acute-care hospital and Level II Trauma Center serving Seminole and West Volusia counties. It offers a full-service cardiovascular program, orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, inpatient medical rehabilitation, and comprehensive imaging services.
