Job Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to maximize uptime and operation according to manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various production equipment to support operational efficiency.
  • Train machine operators on setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Develop and implement Design Of Experiment (DOE) to validate and release equipment to manufacturing.
  • Execute qualification plans to ensure manufacturing equipment performs reliably and meets specified capabilities.
  • Generate and update equipment programs and operational procedures for front-line operators.
  • Evaluate equipment installations and recommend design modifications to improve throughput and minimize malfunctions and downtime.
  • Research, develop, and establish preventative maintenance procedures for manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain, adjust, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems.
  • Locate, evaluate, and resolve mechanical equipment problems; install software upgrades.
  • Research sources for new equipment, evaluate capabilities, identify utility requirements, justify procurement, and oversee installation.
  • Manage outside services for repairs and contractors for facility updates.
  • Additional Duties
    • Assist with operations to meet schedules and quality standards.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
    • Participate in meetings and work groups to communicate issues and stay updated on developments.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Tools and Equipment
    • Hand tools, digital multimeter (DVM), computers, office equipment, mechanical tools.
    Minimum Requirements
    • Associate degree or technical school graduate.
    • 2-3 years of experience or trade school graduate with experience.
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% for training.
