Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Apple Valley, California. • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 5, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:30 – 07:00), 3 shifts per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2110–$2260
• On-Call:
  Required (estimated 70-90 hours in a 6-week period)
• Setting:
  Acute Care Hospital, Main Operating Room & Outpatient Surgery Center
• Patient Population:
  Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Charting System:
  Epic
• Scrubs:
  Provided for OR nurses
• Free Parking

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (3 years preferred, including experience with a range of surgical procedures)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
• Ability to float between Main OR and Outpatient Surgery Center as needed
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

• Circulate and/or scrub for a wide variety of surgical procedures, including ENT, General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics (Da Vinci Xi), Spine, Total Joints, Urology, and Vascular surgeries
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent surgical cases as needed
• Float between Main Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery Center as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and universal precautions
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic
• Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
