American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring on-call availability and a CA RN license.

• Operating Room unit in an acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds
• Variable 12-hour day shifts covering Sunday through Saturday, including , , and  schedules
• On-call responsibilities required, estimated 70-90 hours per 6-week period, including weekend and holiday on-call coverage
• Facility may call off shifts up to once per two-week pay period
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active CA RN license required
• BCLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required, 3 years preferred with relevant surgical procedure experience
• Weekend shifts required as scheduled
• Pending licenses not accepted

• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; OR scrubs are provided
• Free parking available on-site
• Floating between facilities within the state may be required
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Minimal RTO accommodated at time of consideration
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
