American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for an acute care hospital, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and availability for on-call shifts.

• Operating Room unit in a 212-bed acute care hospital
• Variable 12-hour day shifts with Sunday through Saturday coverage
• Shift times vary and may include , , or
• On-call responsibilities required, including weekend and holiday call rotations
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Facility may call off one shift per two-week pay period
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required, 3 years preferred
• Experience with surgical procedures relevant to the OR setting preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pending license not accepted

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a surgical services team
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; OR scrubs provided
• Free parking available onsite
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Minimal RTO accommodated at time of consideration
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
