American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring CA RN licensure, Epic EMR experience, and current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.

• Acute care hospital setting with 212 staffed beds
• Emergency Department unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with potential for additional weekends based on unit needs
• No call or float requirements
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Active, unencumbered professional license required at time of consideration

• Provide emergency department nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Free parking available on-site
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Minimal RTO accommodated; extensive time off requests may impact consideration
• Local candidates considered within a 50-mile radius
