The outpatient Family Medicine Physician role at an Allina Health Clinic presents an opportunity to participate in a solid team environment resulting in the ultimate patient care experience. Our Primary Care providers partner with our Mental Health service line and the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing to provide whole person care in the clinic setting.

The Apple Valley clinic is searching for a Family Medicine Physician to join its team. Here you will be part of a 51 member team including the service line specialties of Urgent Care, CKRI, community pharmacy, ortho, podiatry, cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, ENT, audiology, Ob-Gyn/Midwifery, urology, nephrology, diabetic education, clinic pharmacist, Mental Health, high tech imaging yet able to access the full spectrum of specialty care across the Allina Health system.

• Great clinic to build a new practice due to high patient demand, growing area and many primary care patient growth opportunities from Urgent care and Specialty provider referrals
• Successful mentoring program for new providers who join our practice

• Minimal call coverage, phone only, RN triage support
• Clinic hours are Monday: 7:30am-6pm, Friday: 7:30am-5pm, and closed Saturday-Sunday

• Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

• Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
• Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.
• May participate in peer review and quality assurance

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days

Pay Range: $266,500 to $313,500 per year. The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
