Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Position Summary:

Join our meat team and you’ll help with the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. Your attention to detail and steady hand help sell a quality product. You’ll be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

What you’ll do and how you’ll impact the team includes collaborating with others, maintaining standards, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; maintains product quality.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages their use.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence, work area cleanliness, quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile/high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures packaging, labeling, and storage comply with policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Values the member’s experience in the meat area and models high-quality service; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; applies related action plans and the Open Door Policy.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks improvements and adapts to change.
