The Inside Sales Representative leads the onboarding of new distributor accounts, ensuring accurate set up and complete documentation for a seamless activation. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for qualifying inbound leads, identifying new opportunities through research, and providing day‑to‑day support to the field sales team. The position also manages pricing and discount program administration—including SPAs and VIP—by maintaining contract records, processing agreements, tracking purchasing behaviours, calculating rebates, and delivering routine reporting to inform and optimise pricing strategies.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations and is considered a hybrid position with periodic onsite work at the North American headquarters in Apple Valley, MN.
- Distributor Account Setup and Onboarding – Oversee the setup and onboarding of new distributor accounts by ensuring accurate setup of location and contact information in Partner with internal teams to define account structures, verify required documentation, and deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
- Lead Research and Qualification – Follow up on and qualify inbound leads from multiple channels, engaging customers by phone and email to understand their needs, explain products and/or services, and identify new sales opportunities. Proactively generate additional leads for the field sales team researching prospective customers through construction data platforms and related sources.
- Pricing and Discount Programs – Manage and administer regional pricing and discount programmes, including Special Pricing Agreements (SPA) and Volume Incentive Programs (VIP). Oversee the creation and maintenance of contracts in CRM, process and update pricing agreements in alignment with Oracle Advanced Pricing, and collaborate closely with Sales Managers and the Customer Service Representatives. Track invoicing to identify purchasing gaps, calculate rebates according to programme terms, and deliver routine reporting.
Evaluate product and application gaps and recommend enhancements to strengthen and optimise overall pricing strategy. - Contribute to business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related area and 2+ years of experience related to Sales, Marketing, Channel Management, and/or Customer Service, with progressive responsibility.
- Aptitude and desire to sell, gain market knowledge, and learn Uponor products, services and applications.
- Strong oral, written communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- Experience in CRM (preferably ).
- Credible persuasive skills and problem‑solving skills are of paramount importance.
- Strong telephone presentation skills.
- Computer skills including the use of MS Office suite and internet research methodology;
Oracle ERP experience preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is $29.25‑$43.87/hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location and/or experience. Internal equity among current employees will also be considered. Please note that this range represents the full base hourly rate for the role and hiring at or near the top of the range is uncommon to ensure room for future pay advancement.
