Job Description

Job Title: Tax Preparer

Pay Rate: $25/hour-$35/hour, based on experience

Hours: Full time with some flexibility, approximately 40-60 hours per week. Core hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Length: Temporary through approximately mid April, potential for a permanent role based on performance

Location: Appleton, WI (on-site)

Requirements:

• Must have 1+ year of tax preparation experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus
• Basic Word and Excel knowledge, usage of a computer tax package, Quick Books knowledge is a plus
• Outgoing, ability to converse with farms
• Organized, driven and self-motivated
• Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare income taxes and financial reports
• Calculate depreciation expenses
• Perform tax research
• Analyze financial statements
• Calculate payroll taxes
• Help clients with Quick Books or other accounting records
