Automotive Detailer

Starting at $19.00/hour plus overtime—pay negotiable based on experience.

Full‑time, approximately 40‑45 hours/week. Every other Saturday required (weekday off provided when working Saturday).

The Automotive Detailer is responsible for preparing pre‑owned vehicles for display and delivery. This role ensures all vehicles are clean, polished, and presented to the highest standard.

• Wash and clean vehicle exteriors, including windows and doorjambs
• Apply wax and polish to vehicle surfaces, buffing as needed
• Vacuum interiors and clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces using appropriate products
• Inspect vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, or interior damage and report findings to management
• Dress tires and remove protective films or shipping materials
• Maintain showroom and lot vehicles in clean, ready‑to‑display condition
• Remove window stickers from sold vehicles and take photos for online listings
• Keep the detail shop organized, clean, and ensure all dealership tools and equipment are accounted for
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company standards

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Good judgment and time management skills

This position requires frequent physical activity, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, squatting, and entering/exiting vehicles throughout the day. The role involves working with multiple vehicles in varying weather conditions.
