• Gather and manipulate data to create analytics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Materials, Manufacturing, and Purchasing Category Leaders.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on project and product spend categories.
• Use data‑analytics tools to conduct spend and category analytics.
• Apply advanced critical thinking to develop project and risk mitigation plans.
• Maintain knowledge of suppliers, supply markets, and supplier relationships.
• Understand product development processes and part life cycles.
• Assess the application and timing of long‑term supply agreements.
• Interpret supply market trends and their business impact.
• Read and interpret engineering technical drawings.
• Manage supply chain risk through identification, communication, and action.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supporting and driving them to completion.
• Coordinate programs from concept through launch using project‑management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) or more years of experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel 10–20 %.

• Category strategy experience within the manufacturing industry.

• Strong teamwork and collaborative abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Time‑management and prioritization skills, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment with constantly changing requirements.
• Proficiency with web‑based software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

• Primarily performed in a professional office environment.
• Duties involve extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
• Visual acuity required for computer use and reading documents.
• Auditory ability required for virtual and in‑person meetings.
• Occasional office movement: walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.
