About the role

Join Wisconsin Early Autism Project (WEAP) as a Behavior Technician and help children with autism develop communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through play‑based ABA therapy.

Responsibilities

Conduct ABA therapy sessions with children ages 18 months to 6 years, collect and analyze behavior data, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support families in achieving developmental goals.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Daily access to reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work consistent weekly schedule mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings.
  • Minimum age 18 and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Genuine desire to help children with autism reach their goals.
  • Compassion, empathy, kindness, and reliability.
  • Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
  • Bi‑lingual fluency in English/Spanish (plus).
  • Related study or experience in psychology, education, or child‑care fields (plus).
  • Experience working with children in any childcare capacity (plus).
  • Interest in building a career in behavior analysis or related behavioral health professions (plus).
Benefits
  • Full‑time pay starting at $16/hr, with increase based on ABA experience.
  • Part‑time or full‑time schedule: 7am–8pm CST Monday–Friday; weekends available.
  • Up to 15 days of paid time off after 90 days of full‑time employment.
  • Sick leave for part‑time employees.
  • Opportunity for promotion within 3 months and ongoing professional development.
