Apple Town Dental Care is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician in Appleton, Wisconsin to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview

As a Sterilization Technician
, you will be supporting our clinical operations by ensuring that all instruments, equipment, and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained in accordance with the highest infection control standards.

Status

Full-Time.

    Mon-Wed 8-5 and Thu 8-4:30

Responsibilities
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring sterilized instruments and materials are properly arranged.
  • Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment with attention to detail.
  • Monitor and log sterilization cycles and ensure all documentation meets safety requirements.
  • Support the clinical team by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area.
  • Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste following proper protocols.
  • Participate in team huddles and contribute to a clean, efficient, and positive working environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous dental or medical sterilization experience preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in infection control or dental sterilization (if applicable) is a plus.
