Design Assistant (Part-Time, then Full-Time)

You'll be trained and supported to eventually take full ownership of the position as you grow with us.

As a Design Assistant, you'll work closely with our design team to source materials, prepare design concepts, and help bring beautiful spaces to life. • Assist in generating compelling design concepts that meet client requirements.
• Support the design team in developing sound interior design practices.
• Basic experience in Adobe and Publisher.
• Help with material sourcing, sample coordination, and maintaining design schedules.
• Assist in staging and de-staging model homes.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal and external teams as needed.
• Organize and maintain design resources and materials.

• Creativity, responsiveness, and resourcefulness.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
• Basic proficiency in design tools (e.g., image editing software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with color, texture, and spatial design principles.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.

• Approximately 15-20 hours per week (flexible scheduling).

• Associates degree strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) or certificate in interior design is a plus.
• Entry-level (1 - 3 years) experience or relevant coursework.
