Who We Are Pre-Design and Design Phases
- Aid in site survey/field investigation as required.
- Assist in creating presentation drawings for proposals.
- Assist Project Architect with preliminary design drawings and documents.
- Work with Project Architect and/or Engineer to produce and/or revise detailed construction documents for assigned projects.
- Attend site visits during construction.
- Attend and participate in team, client, and department meetings.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of architectural and engineering standards for Boldt specifications, drawing format, administrative procedures, and quality control measures.
- Associate’s degree in architecture studies.
- Plans to pursue architectural licensing preferred.
- No experience required.
- Knowledge of construction technology, and design.
- Must be proficient in and understand computer aided drawing software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Sketch Up, and other similar systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
- Knowledge with other graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop, and 3D rendering capabilities is preferred.
- Demonstrated time management skills and accountability to the team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or work spaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to effectively communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.
The working conditions of this position require the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $44,750 - $55,216 per year. This range represents what The Boldt Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to: candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, alignment with market data and internal equity as well as other business and organizational needs.
Our expectation is that the incumbent will work at our Appleton, WI office. If the incumbent works out of a different location, the anticipated salary range is subject to change.
