Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

This inpatient facility in Appleton, Wisconsin seeks a locum tenens Child & Adolescent Psychiatry clinician for coverage from September to December 2026. The clinician will deliver inpatient psychiatric care for a pediatric patient population within a structured 7 on/7 off model. • Average unit census of 17 patients, with 10 to 15 patients per clinician per day
• On-site work only, telepsychiatry is not permitted

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric coverage
• Manage routine follow-ups, admissions, and discharges
• Provide call coverage with a 20-minute response time

• Full time (40 hours)
• 7 on/7 off schedule, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on-site

Qualifications

• Wisconsin medical license or IMLC required
• Prescriptive authority required
• Board certification not required
