Psychiatrist

Our client in Wisconsin is actively seeking a Psychiatrist for an 84-day assignment. The Physician will provide inpatient psychiatric care, managing a schedule of 12-hour shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off, which includes night call. Key responsibilities involve participation in treatment-team meetings, coordinating with healthcare staff, managing medication, and handling discharge planning.

  Approximately 10-15 patients, inclusive of routine follow-up evaluations, admissions, and discharges
• Staffing Mix:
  Support Staff include APPs, Residents, and Fellows on-site

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care
• Participate in treatment-team meetings
• Communicate with families and caregivers
• Coordinate with nursing and social work teams
• Conduct discharge planning
• Manage patient medications
• Handle court and involuntary treatment responsibilities
• Perform peer-to-peer reviews
