The Heart of the Valley YMCA is part-time assistant pre-kindergarten teachers for our Little Chute Elementary 4K program, supporting children as they prepare for their school day. Y ou’ll supervise and lead a variety of activities to encourage & compliment the already-in-progress learning & development of social skills and healthy living. You’ll ensure a safe & impactful program that aligns with the Y’s core values, while having fun!

This is a part-time morning role located at Little Chute Elementary school, 6:45am to 8:00am, Monday to Friday.

Applicants who do not obtain these courses are encouraged to apply. The Y can provide coursework & support to complete these requirements.

• 17 years of age or older.
• Completed high school or its equivalency as determined by the DPI.
• Previous experience working with infants and children is preferred.

• Completion of Introduction to Child Care Professions course
• At least 2 credits in early childhood education, qualifying coursework
• Assistant Teacher registry certificate
