Responsibilities- Layout and design of HVAC systems
- Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, development of Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements
- Development of final construction documents for these systems, including chilled water and cooling water systems
- Coordination with other disciplines
- Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline, interactive team to meet client needs
Bring curiosity, multi-tasking, collaboration, and strong organizational skills to help deliver impactful projects.
Qualifications- At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities
- Proficiency in Revit
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems
- Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely
- Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D
- Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems
