Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer II ponsible for performing electrical power, lighting, or low‑voltage system engineering tasks on construction projects under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with 2 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Associate Degree in Electrical Technology with 6 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with PC, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Revit, and National Electric Code (NEC).
• Travel: 5-10%.
• Work schedule:
  
  7 AM–5 PM, Monday‑Friday; overtime may be required.

• Provides guidance to Level 1 engineers and designers.
• Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications.
• Prepares and studies technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure conformity to standards and customer requirements.
• Plans layout of electrical construction projects.
• Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
• Confers with internal and external customers to discuss construction projects.
• Ensures compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications.
• Compiles data and writes reports regarding engineering studies and projects.
• Operates computer‑assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
