Base pay range: $69,500.00/yr - $95,500.00/yr.
Responsibilities- Account for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Provide on‑site assistance during startup.
- Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers.
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Produce control system designs for a variety of processes and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
- Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary, highly interactive team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Experience working with data centers.
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
