Electrical Controls Engineer

Join CV-TEK, Rapid Vision Pak  & Middleby Packaging Solutions to design advanced control systems for capital equipment.

Appleton, WI or Elgin, IL (up to 40% domestic travel; international travel may be required).

• Conceptual design and component specification for electrical control systems.
• System hardware design and programming, using Solid Works Electrical, AutoCAD or similar.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to meet project requirements.
• Provide engineering support to field service technicians.
• Deliver technical training at client facilities as needed.
• Support existing products within existing methods and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in capital equipment design and service.
• 7–10 years of high-speed automation and electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in electrical design documentation using Solid Works Electrical, AutoCAD or similar.
• Experience designing stepper motor, servo, and touch screen controlled machinery; packaging industry experience a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical and project management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (up to 40%, including internationally).
