- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies that support innovation and cost-efficiency.
- Lead process improvement and capital projects from concept through implementation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges using data-driven methodologies.
- Participate in Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and productivity.
- Provide technical support for product launches and collaborate with R&D and operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and process integration.
- Train production staff on new processes, products, and equipment procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a science-related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in process engineering or product development (less experienced candidates may be considered).
- Proven ability to apply engineering principles to solve manufacturing problems and implement improvements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments and levels.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, safety standards, and quality protocols.
- Organizational agility and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Business insight in cost analysis, project planning, and strategic execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading capital or technical projects, including budgeting and implementation.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification; proficiency in Minitab preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and Kaizen methodologies.
- Background in coating processes or experience with coating equipment/formulas.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
