- Configure structures and oversee drawing production
- Select appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support material
- Inspect construction work to ensure structural soundness
- Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, and drawings
- Conduct calculations on pressures, loads, and stresses
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers
- Monitor contractor work for structural integrity
- Administer small sub‑contracts and manage structural projects
- Inspect geotechnical properties and evaluate foundations
- Utilize computer‑aided design technology for simulation purposes
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer with 3+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer
- Experience in industrial structural engineering
- Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Familiarity with steel, concrete, and masonry materials
- Experience in heavy to light industrial projects
- Knowledge of rotating and vibration analysis
- Advanced understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and clients
