Job Title: Test Technician (Engineering Technician)
Job Description: As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting assembly or system-level failures to the component level, ensuring they can be repaired effectively. You will collaborate with Test Engineers and customers to gain a deeper understanding of functionality, particularly when information is scarce. Additionally, you will provide break-fix support for test equipment and utilize various tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, and processes related to manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Use test failure reports, schematics, datasheets, and other tools to accurately troubleshoot failures to the component level.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers and customers to enhance understanding of product functionality.
- Provide break-fix support for test equipment.
- Utilize appropriate tools to perform necessary work, including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, and processes.
- Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of the full manufacturing processes and product requirements and specifications.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and assembly processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters (2+ years).
- Familiarity with high voltage applications (480-1000 VDC).
Skills & Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Any software programming experience is a plus.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
