Financial Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to assess the creditworthiness and financial stability of commercial members. You'll analyze complex financial data, evaluate credit risk, prepare credit proposals, and collaborate closely with Loan Officers to support informed lending decisions. This role is ideal for a financial professional with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and deep knowledge of commercial lending practices.

- Analyze financial statements:
Review income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and relevant financial data to assess financial health and creditworthiness. - Conduct risk assessments:
Evaluate credit risk by considering industry trends, market conditions, business performance, and leadership strength. - Prepare credit proposals:
Compile comprehensive proposals with recommended credit limits, terms, and conditions. - Perform industry research:
Stay current on industry developments, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit risk. - Collaborate with Loan Officers:
Partner with Loan Officers and stakeholders to gather information and provide recommendations on credit decisions. - Monitor credit portfolios:
Track performance of existing credit accounts, identify emerging risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance:
Adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines. - Communicate findings:
Present complex financial analyses and credit recommendations clearly to decision-makers.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.
- 2+ years of credit risk experience (commercial preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools/software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Make a meaningful impact on credit decisions and portfolio performance.
- Work onsite with a collaborative team in Appleton.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
