What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Keep Laundry Clean & Organized

• Wash, dry, fold, and properly label resident clothing and community linens.
• Sort laundry according to care instructions and infection‑control standards.
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Distribute clean laundry to resident rooms and designated storage areas.

Support Resident Comfort & Dignity

• Handle personal clothing and linens with care, respect, and attention to detail.
• Follow resident preferences and schedules when applicable.
• Promptly report missing, damaged, or mislabeled items to leadership.

Maintain a Safe & Efficient Laundry Area

• Keep laundry rooms clean, organized, and well‑stocked.
• Monitor supplies and notify leadership when restocking is needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection‑control procedures.
• Identify and report equipment issues or maintenance concerns.

Be a Team Player

• Collaborate with housekeeping, caregiving, and leadership teams as needed.
• Assist with special projects, deep cleans, or increased laundry needs.
• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Great Folding Skills) Experience & Skills

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required— we will train the right person!
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout a shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warm environment and handling repetitive tasks.

Certifications & Training

• Willingness to complete required training and safety education upon hire.
