Radiologic Technologist; Part Time

The Orthopedic & Sports Institute (OSI) is seeking a Radiology Technologist. The successful candidate will x-ray patients and assist providers with patients in clinic. This is a part time position with the ability to travel to all of our locations. Hours will be between 7:30am and 5:00pm.

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures that include clinic, surgery cases, post op x-rays and injections under fluoroscopy or aspirations
• Room patients and take a history
• Assist with medical care of patients
• Communications with patient both in person and via telephone.
• Perform other selected medical assistant and administrative duties as requested
• Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment, CR/DR/Portable DR
• Adjust equipment for proper exposure in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures, while using immobilization and protective devices as required
• Use Hoyer lift

• Good computer skills

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
• AART Registered
• Must possess independent decision making skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
• Some travel may be required to outlying clinics
• Flexibility to work additional hours when needed
