Hotel General Manager

Soartress Hospitality is seeking a General Manager to lead the Double Tree by Hilton in Appleton, Wisconsin. We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who builds strong teams, delivers excellent guest experiences, and takes ownership of the hotel’s financial and operational performance.

• Lead daily hotel operations and set clear expectations for service, quality, and accountability.

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain department leaders and associates.

• Monitor guest feedback, resolve concerns, and identify ways to improve the guest experience.

• Own the hotel’s budget, labor planning, revenue performance, and expense controls.

• Partner with sales and revenue management teams to grow business and maximize profitability.

• Maintain brand standards and ensure the property is clean, safe, and well maintained.

• Build productive relationships with ownership, corporate support teams, and the local community.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment, safety, and hospitality requirements.

• General Manager experience at a full-service hotel, or substantial full-service hotel leadership experience with demonstrated readiness for a General Manager role.

• Strong financial skills, including experience managing budgets, labor, and operating results.

• A track record of developing teams and improving guest satisfaction.

• Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to follow through in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Hilton systems and brand standards is strongly preferred.
