Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Director of Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics is the leader responsible for sourcing, inventory management, procurement, logistics and supplier performance across the company. This is a build role: the Director will establish supply chain as a company-wide practice, creating the inventory control procedures, sourcing strategy, vendor management processes and trade compliance capability the business needs to scale.

The Director will drive value through supplier negotiations, spend consolidation, inventory optimization, logistics efficiency and disciplined process design, working closely with business unit leaders to build scalable capabilities and improve visibility into spend and inventory performance. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, growth-oriented leader who can influence stakeholders across multiple operating companies, navigate differing priorities and leadership styles, learn quickly, and assume increasing responsibility as the organization evolves.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sourcing & Procurement
  • Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, contracts, rebates, payment terms and service agreements; develop strategic supplier relationships and implement supplier performance measurement and accountability programs.
  • Harmonize and consolidate component sourcing across business units, leveraging company-wide purchasing power and standardizing purchasing practices.
  • Manage international sourcing, including Asia-based suppliers, foundries and export and agency relationships, to strengthen supply continuity and reduce total landed cost.
  • Establish procurement policies, controls, governance processes and sourcing tools that scale across operating companies.
Inventory Management
  • Partner with Operations and business unit leadership to optimize inventory levels, improve inventory accuracy and visibility, and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Develop and maintain inventory policies, replenishment practices, reporting and performance metrics across operating locations.
  • Build the sourcing, stocking and inventory control model required to support new product line launches and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee logistics, freight, transportation and distribution activities, improving service levels and total delivered cost while strengthening shipping, receiving, warehousing and material flow with operating teams.
  • Own duties, tariffs and customs compliance — including HTS classification, country of origin determination and documentation — and identify duty mitigation and recovery opportunities.
  • Evaluate supplier, material availability, transportation and trade regulatory risk, and develop practical mitigation strategies.
Analytics, Systems & Integration
  • Lead spend and inventory analysis and provide actionable recommendations to business unit and executive leadership; develop and report on key performance indicators covering procurement savings, supplier performance, inventory, logistics, service levels and working capital.
  • Partner with Finance to validate cost savings, improve payment terms and working capital, and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Serve as the supply chain lead for ERP implementation and ongoing data governance, including item master, vendor master and inventory module design.
  • Support acquisition integration including supplier rationalization, contract review, inventory alignment, logistics coordination and procurement process standardization.
Leadership
  • Lead and develop procurement, inventory and logistics team members, building organizational capability through process improvement, training, coaching and adoption of consistent practices.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across operating companies with differing priorities, strong personalities and leadership…
