Warehouse Supervisor - Wire and Conduit (1st Shift)
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Werner, you’ll join an innovative distributor of electrical products, consistently ranked among the top nationwide. Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including ordering, receiving, storing, picking, pulling, packing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts.
- Oversee inventory processes, counter sales, delivery, cycle counts, and other warehouse functions.
- Advise employees on proper storage, handling, and use of equipment.
- Track inventory discrepancies, recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare schedules, streamline workflow, and ensure work meets quality standards.
- Create a team atmosphere, handle complaints, and seek support from the Operations Manager when needed.
- Maintain customer relationships, provide sales support and data entry, and coordinate product returns.
- Manage delivery vehicles, warehouse maintenance, and related facilities work.
- Assist walk‑in customers with product information or loading.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and kneeling.
