• Inspect all parts match provided blueprints, part notes and deviations
• Complete all paperwork and check sheets for jobs, including inspection reports and other equivalent documents
• Scan and upload blueprints, with final measurements, to shippers when requested by customers
• Request material certificates (compliance, origins, etc.) when requested by customers
• Reject non-compliant parts and complete current quality processes of notification
• Utilize quality reports to support order fulfillment and ensure timely, accurate shipment of products
• Check inspection reports and confirm that all dimensions are recorded or reject according to current processes
• Reply to internal emails regarding quality and inspections questions

• Ability to use calipers (6", 12" and 24"), tape measure, height gauge, micrometer, gauge pins, calculator, computer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, label printer, scanner, and walkie talkie radio.
• Communication skills are needed to internally address questions or problems of rejected parts with shop and office staff (including Inside Sales and Quality).
• Personal management skills are needed to organize parts, paperwork, and measuring equipment at a minimum.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
