R Plant Operations Manager (Open)

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Plant Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in producing and repackaging of compressed and liquid gases cylinders, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay, and assigning job tasks to workers according to customer needs, current stock levels and workers’ expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the plant for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders, ensuring compliance with all policies, regulations, and laws. Maintain a neat, clean plant appearance.

Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements. Adjust work procedures to meet schedules.

Implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

Ensure safety rules are observed, conduct safety training, and enforce regulations.

Investigate and report injuries and accidents within 24 hours.

Analyze and resolve work-related problems, handle personnel actions, and address employee issues.

Lead subordinate supervisors, motivate workers, and provide coaching and corrective actions.

Train new workers and cross-train associates.

Maintain production records and manage overtime.

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, with 5 years of industry experience including 2 years in a supervisory role. Prefer experience with compressed/packaged gases.
Experience with SAP preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
Basic math skills, including measurement conversions.
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Physical requirements:

ability to move up to 60 pounds, work in various environments and weather conditions, and handle loud noises and odors.
