Role Overview
:
To service and support manufacturing operations by maximizing production output through expedient machine repair, procurement of repair parts, preventive maintenance, safety, and maintaining building systems.

Compensation
: $32–$40 per hour based on skill set with $1.20 night shift premium and 1.5x pay on Sundays.

Schedule
: 2‑2‑3 12‑hour night shift (5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m.).

• Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
• Performs necessary repairs on equipment.
• Creates and understands the work order process using SAP.
• Problem‑solves issues concerning equipment operation and manufacturing processes that affect maximizing output.
• Involved in developmental project work with R&D, manufacturing, and outside equipment and parts vendors.
• Functions as part of the technical resources for on‑site staff.
• Applies knowledge of procedures, work instructions, and associated forms as required by the Key Area Leader.

• Good communication skills—written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Ability to move toward the work without being directed.
• Experience with shop tools.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshooting PLCs (Allen‑Bradley 500 and 5000).
• Must be able to wire up to 480 V systems for industrial machinery.

• Associate’s degree in electro‑mechanical or related field preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Previous experience in an industrial setting working with machine processes, schedules, and a variety of individuals in the manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
