Job Duties And Responsibilities- Read job cards to determine job status, work authorizations/limitations, description of problems, and/or expected serviceability.
- Safely operate material handling equipment as necessary including overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Utilize a solvent parts washer, pressure washer, and/or various chemical cleaning processes to de-grease, and clean durable metal parts and sensitive electrical components.
- Examine parts and other components for cleanliness and defects such as dents and cracks.
- Use picks, reams, wire brushes, scrubbing pads and other similar tools to clean grooves, splines, and drilled holes etc. to remove foreign material.
- Inspect parts to ensure they are clean and have no foreign material.
- Dry cleaned parts in a process oven or by hand as required.
- Properly identify, transport to and place products in designated storage area or assembly station once completed.
- Clean equipment and work area as required to maintain safe and efficient operation.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment when required.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects assigned by your supervisor.
- Complete all required job documentation and work logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Able to bend, squat, pull, push, climb, etc.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Mechanical aptitude and disassembly/assembly experience preferred.
- Must be organized and possess time management skills and skills to adapt to priority changes.
- Must be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast paced with a strong commitment to accountability.
- Must be able to follow and communicate both written and verbal information clearly in English with minimal supervision.
- Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.
- Forklift experience.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
