Lead Workplace Safety Initiatives in a Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking an experienced EHS Safety Manager to lead and enhance safety and health programs within a manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with employees and leadership to create a safe and productive work environment.

• Lead and maintain safety and health programs, policies, and procedures.
• Drive safety culture initiatives through employee engagement and training.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
• Develop and deliver safety training and emergency preparedness programs.
• Analyze safety metrics, trends, and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with leadership and employees to reduce risk and improve workplace safety.
• Support workers' compensation and return-to-work initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of safety leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
• Proven ability to influence cultural change and build employee engagement.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• CSP certification (or progress toward certification) is a plus.
• Experience in a union manufacturing environment preferred.
