Required qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license.
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• AHA ACLS preferred.
• At least 3 years of RN experience and 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
• At least one previous travel contract strongly preferred; previous travel experience is required by the posting's headline.
• Epic charting experience within the last year is mandatory.
• Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred.

The RN will be assigned based on demonstrated skills and staffing needs.

• Medical/Surgical and general surgery.
• Oncology, renal, CHF, COPD and DKA.
• CIWA and stroke care.
• Surgical trauma and orthopedics.
• Cardiac care, including pre/post catheterization, heart cath and pacemakers.
• Neuro, stroke, post-TNK and neurosurgery.
• Pediatric patients are rare.

Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5–6 under the new staffing model, with LPN/CNA support based on acuity. Nurses are expected to accept only patients within their competency.

The posting excludes travelers whose home location or current facility is within 50 miles of Facility.
