Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Float pool.

• Active Wisconsin RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• EPIC charting experience within the past year.
• At least 3 years of RN experience.
• At least 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience.
• One previous travel contract strongly preferred.
• Associate degree or nursing certificate as specified in the posting; bachelor's degree preferred.
• ACLS preferred, but not required.

The position covers multiple Medical/Surgical units across both hospitals, including:

• General and medical-surgical nursing.
• General surgery, surgical trauma, and orthopedics.
• Oncology and renal patients.
• CHF and COPD.
• Stroke and neurological care, including post-TNK patients.
• CIWA and alcohol withdrawal management.
• DKA.
• Cardiac pre/post-catheterization, heart cath, pacemakers, and TR band management.
• Pediatric patients occasionally.

The Neenah assignments specifically include a fifth-floor cardiac unit and a neurological unit.

Important: You should only be assigned patients within your demonstrated skill set, but you must be comfortable floating between units and potentially smaller facilities.
