Lawn Mowing Technician

Responsibilities
  • Mow lawns using a variety of equipment and techniques to achieve a perfectly manicured look
  • Clean up clippings and debris, leaving every property immaculate and inviting
  • Edge and trim around flower beds, walkways, and other landscaping features for a crisp, professional finish
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment for each task to ensure efficiency and quality results
  • Collaborate with team members on a range of landscape maintenance tasks, including mulching, pruning, mowing, trimming, and snow removal during the winter months
  • Communicate clearly with both customers and team members to ensure seamless service and satisfaction
  • Prioritize safety while operating equipment and performing all tasks, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to meet client needs and expectations
  • Manage time efficiently to complete all tasks on schedule without sacrificing quality
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for learning and continuously improving skills
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License to ensure reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., ensuring efficient handling of equipment and materials
  • Positive attitude and a self‑starter mentality, taking pride in delivering exceptional work with attention to detail
  • Comfortable walking long distances while carrying or operating equipment throughout the day
  • Adaptability to work in all weather conditions, from hot summer days to chilly winter mornings
  • Team player who can also work independently, contributing to the overall success of each project
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, finding solutions on the fly when facing challenges in the field
  • Commitment to safety, ensuring all tasks are performed with care and compliance to safety protocols
  • Reliability and punctuality, always showing up on time and ready to tackle the day
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., including equipment, tools, and materials necessary for landscaping tasks.
  • Physical stamina to walk long distances while carrying or operating equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as pushing, pulling, and bending while mowing, edging, and trimming for extended periods.
  • Comfort with standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and squatting during the execution of various lawn maintenance tasks.
  • Capable of working in diverse weather conditions, including hot, sunny days and cooler, rainy, or snowy conditions during different seasons.
  • Dexterity and hand‑eye coordination to handle and operate specialized lawn care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers with precision.
  • Endurance to perform physical labor for extended periods, ensuring efficiency and quality results in every task.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain and work on slopes or inclines while maintaining stability and attention to safety.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces, such as between flower beds, fences, or structures, requiring flexibility and careful movement.
  • Strength to carry out tasks like clearing debris, lifting grass clippings, and handling heavy landscaping materials with ease.
