Director of FSQA

We are partnered with a leading food manufacturer who have opened a search for a Director of FSQA to join their team.

This is a senior, highly visible role leading food safety and quality across the business, with the scope to shape the function as the company grows. With strong investments in place, this is a role which requires a strong leader who has worked at this level previously.

• Lead food safety and quality across all manufacturing sites, reporting to senior leadership
• Unify food safety programs, standards and culture across multiple facilities
• Own USDA-FSIS compliance, HACCP plans and regulatory relationships
• Lead Listeria control, environmental monitoring and sanitation programs
• Maintain SQF/BRCGS certification and lead customer and third-party audits
• Build and develop a high-performing QA team
• Make sure food safety systems scale with new products, new lines and future growth

• 8+ years in food safety and quality, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• USDA-regulated manufacturing experience (essential)
• Strong track record in Listeria control, environmental monitoring and sanitation
• Hands-on SQF or BRCGS and HACCP experience
• Multi-site leadership experience (strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or a related field
