Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

• Your starting pay will range from $13.25 to $13.50, depending on experience.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
• Average weekly hours are between 6 and 9.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department, communicating with supervisors and providing feedback via required surveys.
• Holiday support:
  During peak holiday seasons (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), expect additional days and extended hours, with possible weekend or holiday work.
• Department resets:
  Participate in installations, fixture relocation, and card section resets as part of a team, typically with two‑week advance notice; duties may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration:
  Support other merchandisers within Hallmark’s field organization as needed.

Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operates a digital hand‑held device to read documents.
• Has Wi‑Fi and internet access.
• Has reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
