- Our client, a reputable water heating and treatment organization, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for its Northeast territory. The Regional Sales Manager will focus on business development, territory growth, wholesale water treatment sales, and expansion of the existing customer base. This role will also support dealers, distributors, and customers through in-field technical support and training on residential water treatment products, equipment, applications, and solutions.
- Work with the National Sales Channel Manager to understand sales initiatives and develop territory plans that support regional goals
- Develop a strong understanding of residential water treatment products, equipment, applications, and solutions
- Call on existing customers, prospective customers, dealers, distributors, and other users of water treatment products to drive equipment and service sales
- Develop and expand the customer base through business development, territory development, account development, dealer development, and distributor development
- Support existing customers and attract new prospects through on-site technical training, product training, and water treatment application support
- Attend and support water treatment industry events, trade events, and customer events throughout the assigned territory
- Meet sales and expense objectives outlined in the annual budget
- Assist customers with water treatment applications, troubleshooting, technical support, and in-field support as needed
- Participate in monthly sales reviews and territory planning sessions to evaluate progress and review opportunities
- Follow up on sales leads, customer inquiries, and customer issues
- 3+ years of residential water treatment related experience
- Experience in wholesale required
- Prior work experience for a water-related or water-adjacent business or industry is required
- Experience with water treatment, water conditioning, water filtration, water softening, water treatment equipment, or related water treatment solutions
- Experience supporting wholesale customers, dealers, distributors, or channel partners within the water treatment industry
- Must be able to travel throughout the designated territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Zoom
- Ability to meet company driving requirements and provide transportation capable of supporting travel throughout the territory
- Must reside in NJ, NY, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, ME for full consideration for this position
- Base salary in the 110k - 130k/year range
