Picture your morning: you check your route, load up the truck, and head to a nearby home where a family has been looking forward to new, energy-efficient windows. You greet the homeowner, walk the space, confirm the plan, and then get to work—precise removal, expert installation, clean finish work, and a final walkthrough that leaves the customer smiling. That’s a typical day for our Residential Fenestration Installer.

What you’ll do Install residential remodeling products—particularly replacement windows—following Mad City’s standards and procedures.

Perform finishing and trim work as needed for a polished, professional result.

Wrap windows when required and ensure weather-tight, code-compliant installations.

Communicate with management at job completion to confirm customer satisfaction and obtain authorization for final payment.

Complete the carpentry job checklist with the homeowner before you leave the site.

What you bring

At least 6 months of remodeling, carpentry, or construction experience.

Hands-on experience with window replacements and/or exterior window wrapping.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong communication and customer service skills to work effectively with homeowners and teammates.

Compensation & schedule

Base pay: $20–$24 per hour Monday–Friday schedule

Field-based role

This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location.
